Designer heels for women, made to the boutique standard
Amelira's heels are for people who want the shoe they have been looking at in store windows, without the store price. Each pair is made to the same specification as the boutique version, with the same calfskin, satin and patent uppers and the same leather-lined insoles, finished by hand and priced below retail. The edit runs from slim stilettos and two-tone slingbacks to block-heel courts and strappy evening sandals with a heel.
Matching the heel to the occasion
For a wedding or a long dinner, a block or flared heel spreads your weight and will see you through the night. For the office, a pointed court in a 6–8 cm heel sits cleanly under trousers and pencil skirts. If you only wear heels a few times a year, a kitten-heel slingback is the lowest-risk purchase, because it looks dressed up at any height.
Getting the fit right
Heels are less forgiving than flats, so measure your foot in the afternoon when it is at its largest and compare it with the size chart on each product page. A pointed toe needs a little extra length; an open toe can usually be worn in your regular size. Narrow feet do best in styles with an ankle strap.
